miTrip ("we", "our", or "us") operates the website mitrip.cc and the miTrip Android app (collectively, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
miTrip is designed to work without user accounts or personal registration. We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the Service:

The Feedback link in the site footer lets you report a problem or suggest an idea. Using it is entirely optional. When you send a report we receive:
Our server passes your report directly to AppFeedback (feedback.valvoy.me), the feedback inbox we run for our apps. Your browser never contacts it directly. Only our team reads reports there. Your IP address and email address are never shown back on the site. If you leave an email address, we use it only to send you our replies to that report, never for newsletters or marketing. Leave it empty if you prefer to read replies on the site.
miTrip has no accounts. Instead, your browser stores a private key for each report you send (in localStorage, under "My reports"). Only that key opens the report and its replies. If you clear this site's data, you lose access from that browser, but the report is still kept on our side.
Legal basis: your request (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) for handling the report itself, your consent (art. 6(1)(a)) for the optional email address, and our legitimate interest in preventing abuse (art. 6(1)(f)) for the IP address. Please do not include sensitive personal information in reports or screenshots.
miTrip uses no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. We use two kinds of browser storage:
localStorage holds your language, currency, theme, saved destinations, your cookie choice and, if you sent feedback, the list of your reports with their access keys. It never leaves your device except to open your own reports._ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) to tell repeat visits from new ones. These are set only if you press "Accept" in the cookie banner. Until then Google Consent Mode keeps the tag cookieless, and pressing "Decline" keeps it that way.You can change your mind at any time via the Cookies link in the site footer, or by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Server logs are retained for up to 30 days. AI-generated content (route info, itineraries) may be cached on our server for up to 30 days to reduce API costs; this cached content contains no personal identifiers.
Feedback reports are kept for as long as we need them to handle the issue and keep a record of what was fixed. You can ask us to delete a report, or just the email address you gave, at any time.
The Service is served exclusively over HTTPS. We apply industry-standard measures to protect data in transit and at rest. No system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. Apart from standard server logs, the only personal data we may hold is what you sent through the Feedback form. To access, correct or delete it, email us at the address below and include the report number shown under "My reports" (e.g. #12). You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
